Tourism as service industry which is growing very fast in the world especially in the last two decades, and will be very well developed in the beginning of 21^st century. Tourism is related to other industries which triggered large and small economic sector as well. Tourism is everybody business, where the essence, will never stop and develop as long as human live. Therefore, tourism had been proved as the largest industries in the world in terms of recruitment of the massive laborer. 

   
      

Mataram Tourism Academy: Catches the Opportunities

      Based on that issues and the large number of demand on tourism’s workforce in every countries, so that the paradigm is changed from local to international workforce. To gain those objectives, strategic planning had been designed, i.e. to create conducive academic atmosphere, to rise human resources quality, to ensure process and output quality, and to strengthened network among other parties.

     Atmospherics academic created by park landscaping, human relation based interacting, honest and open hearted implementing, fair competition pattern method, and representative facilities availability.                   

Quality concern on Human Resources Development

To increase quality on human resources, several efforts had been taken are:

1.   Lecturer development program, i.e. continuing to magister and doctoral program

2.   Training program in hotel and tourism institute, i.e. STP

3.   Guest lecturer from tourism experts  

4.   Practical lecturer from hoteliers, staff development, workshop, and seminars.

Mataram Tourism Academy has Special Job Bureau to place alumnus in various related industries both of in domestic and overseas as well. Here are they:

1. Graduated student of SMA/SMK/MA/PAKET C
2. Filling the registration form
3. Copy of legalized SMA/SMK/MA/PAKET C certificate’s
4. Recent B/W photo size 2x3 and 3x4 cm 4 pieces each
5. Registration fee Rp 200.000 (20.U$)
